Background: Born on the north side of Omaha NE, Eagle Feather experienced a difficult childhood marked by instability and violence. Removed from his home at age 8, he cycled through foster care, group homes, psychiatric institutions, and juvenile detention centers. He entered the adult prison system at 18, eventually serving and 18 and a half year sentence.
